As part of California's Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools are required to develop, adopt, and annually update a three-year Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). Since these comprehensive plans are organized around the same required metrics, it has provided an excellent opportunity for County Offices of Education (COEs) to learn, and respond to, the needs and trends in districts across the County.
The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Actions Portal was established by the San Diego County Office of Education in an effort to streamline the manner in which COEs gather information regarding implementation and best practices outlined within the LCAPs. The LCAP Actions Portal is an online database that provides users with the ability to search the wide range of actions and services contained within the LCAPs of local school districts.
